Each arch we create is handmade from sustainably sourced timber, shaped with traditional joinery methods, and finished to meet the precise standards our clients expect.
Classic Rose Arches &
Bespoke Designs
Our collection features designs that have remained unchanged since Victorian times, built for durability and refined through generations of use. The classic rose arch offers an elegant framework for climbing roses, clematis, and wisteria. The arch proportions are carefully designed to balance visual appeal with structural strength.
We also offer Gothic and Tudor Gothic arches, each characterised by their distinctive pointed features and period details. For clients seeking something entirely unique, our bespoke service allows you to commission an arch designed specifically for your garden, tailored to the proportions of the space and the architectural style of its surroundings.
Timber Selection & Craftsmanship
We work with a variety of sustainably sourced timbers, including Iroko, Oak, and Cedar for natural finishes, or Accoya and Sapele where painted finishes are preferred. Each timber type is chosen for its structural qualities and ability to weather gracefully over time.
Traditional joinery ensures each arch is built to last, with mortice and tenon joints carefully crafted and assembled by hand. All finishing work is completed in our workshop before installation, guaranteeing consistency and attention to detail at every stage.
Creating Tunnel Arches & Walkways
A series of garden arches placed along a path forms a tunnel, creating a dramatic route through the garden that fills with colour as climbing plants mature. Arches can be linked with rails and trellis to give a continuous framework, or spaced apart to frame views at regular intervals. We work with private clients and design professionals to plan walkways of any length, adjusting the width, height and spacing to suit the path and the plants you intend to grow
Arches with Planters
& Integrated Features
Many of our arches can be designed with integrated planters at the base, allowing you to establish climbing plants immediately whilst adding visual weight and balance to the structure. This approach works particularly well for courtyard gardens or areas where planting directly into soil is not possible.
We also offer arches combined with trellis panels, creating more opportunities for climbing plants and offering privacy or screening where needed. Every element is considered in relation to the whole, ensuring the finished structure functions properly within the space it occupies.
