Trellis is the framework that brings structure, height, and support to a garden, whether for climbing plants, defining a boundary, or adding architectural detail to a wall or fence. At Stuart Garden Architecture, each panel is made to order in our Somerset workshop, built using our own unique jointed method, developed to ensure every intersection is properly fitted and secured.
Available in square patterns, this panel is set at a 6 inch centre to centre spacing, offering a more open framework that allows plenty of light through while still providing a clean support for climbing plants. The diamond pattern forms a traditional lattice, ideal for roses, clematis, and wisteria, while the square pattern suits more contemporary planting schemes. Rails and battens are precisely dimensioned to maintain consistent spacing throughout, giving each panel clean, structural lines that age gracefully to soft greys and silvers, or can be finished with protective oils to preserve their original colour.
