The Coach House, Oxfordshire
When commissioned to redesign a whole garden Miles & McCulloch were faced with a traditional style stone house with a large modern extension. Their aim was to emphasise the differences in styles whilst trying to unite the scheme as a whole. Yew hedges and evergreen oaks were planted to define the garden boundaries and they felt that quality hardwood trellis was more appropriate for internal enclosures. The moon gates and gazebo extended the architectural interest out into the garden.
